Eliza Gabriel

Principal
Eliza Gabriel is thrilled to step into the role of Principal of Impact | Puget Sound Elementary! Before joining PSE, Ms. Gabriel led teams in Washington and New York with excellent academic outcomes. She instituted a program to diversify classroom libraries and campaigned to improve the quality and diversity of books to which students are exposed. Ms. Gabriel is passionate about maintaining a school culture where children feel supported, powerful, endlessly capable, and loved. She has worked with a variety of age groups, and served children in general and special education classrooms. Ms. Gabriel is from Minnesota originally, earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Bates College in Maine, and her Master’s in General and Special Elementary Education from Touro College in New York.
Kristina Curran

Kristina Curran

Assistant Principal
Kristina Curran received her Bachelor's degree in English and Journalism at University of Delaware. Originally from New Jersey, she began her career in education at Uncommon Schools. She taught as a Lead Teacher before becoming a Kindergarten Instructional Leader. Going into her fifth year in education, Kristina taught Kindergarten at Impact and served as Grade Team Lead. Kristina is dedicated to supporting scholars, teachers, and families by building strong relationships and focusing on each scholar's individual and educational journey.
Shalea Semana

Shalea Semana

Assistant Principal
Shalea Semana received her Bachelor's degree in Communications & Ethnic Studies from the University of Washington, and her master's in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University. Shalea taught for 8 years in Oakland, CA, where she developed classroom environments in grades 2-4 that offer rigorous, engaging lessons in a nurturing, structured learning community. She has a strong passion for supporting educators with skills to provide high quality instruction and expectations. But what keeps her in the classroom is her love for fostering student independence and youth activism, providing opportunities for students to critically think and express themselves. Ms. Semana is determined to make sure all scholars and educators have exactly what they need in order to grow and thrive.
Liz Goodmanson

Liz Goodmanson

Director of School Operations
Liz comes with 15+ years of operational and leadership experience, with a track record for people development and seeing the true potential in each individual. Outside of her professional career, she is a mom in the Impact community, with two sons attending. For Liz, her family is the reason for each and every day. The values that the Impact community has is what made Liz know that she wanted to be a part of this community at a deeper level. She started her Impact career founding our newest location at Black River Elementary as a School Manager and she is very excited to continue her Impact journey at Puget Sound Elementary as a Director of School Operations.
